By booking lessons with SAMZ Automatic Driving School Edinburgh, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following terms and conditions:
All pupils must hold a valid provisional driving licence before booking any lessons. You must carry this licence during each lesson.
All lessons must be booked in advance through our online booking system.
Payments must be made at least 72 hours prior to the lesson via our website, by phone, or through bank transfer. We do not accept cash payments.
Pupils are responsible for booking their own lessons. We operate with an open diary, allowing students to choose suitable slots directly with their assigned instructor.
All payments for lessons, including block bookings, are strictly non-refundable.
This policy is in place due to high levels of time-wasting. We are a professional service and take our business seriously.
If a pupil is unable to attend a lesson, the lesson fee will still be charged in full, with no cancellations, reschedules, or refunds allowed once a lesson is booked.
To reschedule a lesson, a minimum 48-hour notice is required. Anything later than this even by one hour will be charged at the full lesson price.
In the event your assigned instructor is unavailable, we will make every effort to provide an alternative instructor.
While we aim to ensure all lessons begin and end on time, delays may occur due to traffic, roadworks, or unforeseen circumstances.
Pupils must arrive on time. Late arrival may result in a shortened lesson or loss of the lesson without a refund.
Lessons will be immediately cancelled (with full charge) if a pupil is suspected to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
We reserve the right to refuse further lessons to any pupil who displays unsafe driving behaviour or inappropriate conduct.
Our vehicles are fully insured and routinely maintained for the purpose of instruction.
A school car will only be provided for a driving test if the pupil is deemed test-ready. This means passing at least three mock tests with us, in line with DVSA recommendations.
SAMZ Automatic Driving School and its instructors are not responsible for the loss or damage of personal items left in the car during lessons.
Pupils are advised not to carry large amounts of cash during their lessons.
Pupils must inform their instructor of any medical condition, medication, or disability that may affect their driving ability.
Failure to disclose relevant information may result in cancellation of lessons without refund, in the interest of safety.
All personal data collected will be handled securely and in compliance with our Privacy Policy.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective once posted on this page.
